Tim Northrop is President/CEO for Adventist Risk Management, Inc., (ARM), and its affiliated companies, Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont and Gencon Insurance Company International, Ltd.
ARM provides risk and insurance services for the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide and is owned and operated by the Adventist Church.
As president of ARM, Northrop serves as the risk manager for the Seventh-day Adventist Church handling the full range of church risks with heavy exposures in liability, property and employee benefits. He provides leadership to more than 150 employees in three offices: Silver Spring, Maryland, St. Albans, England and Brasilia, Brazil.
Previously, Northrop was Senior Vice President and Chief Insurance Operations Officer. In his position, he led the insurance underwriters and placement services teams as well as all sales efforts for ARM through its Client Services program.
Northrop joined ARM in 2001 and has held positions in Underwriting, Placement Services and Field Services.
Prior to joining ARM, Northrop, a Business Administration graduate of Southwestern Adventist University, worked for Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Northrop has designations as an Associate in General Insurance and Associate in Risk Management.
David Fournier is the Vice President, Chief Client Care Officer for Adventist Risk Management Inc. (ARM). Fournier is specifically responsible for assessing and implementing the delivery of products and service programs for all products of the Company, with exception to South America. He is responsible for the risk control and education programs of ARM. Other responsibilities include annual and long term planning, measuring quality of performance and correcting unfavorable deviations in performance for assigned departments.
Fournier began his service with ARM in 2004. He graduated from Southern Adventist University, and holds a Maryland Property and Casualty producer license.
Andrew Moll is the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer forAdventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) and GENCON Insurance Company of Vermont (GICV). He is a key point of contact on financial transactions with vendors, assists in planning, implementing, and monitoring ARM departmental budgets, as well as provides leadership of ARM’s Financial Services department.
Since joining ARM in 2013, Moll worked as Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, Staff Accountant, and Corporate Treasurer. He is a graduate of Andrews University and holds several designations including CPA and CPCU.
With assets of more than $100 million and annual gross written premiums exceeding $95 million, the Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont is a vital risk management entity for the Seventh-day Adventist Church, insuring against a multitude of liabilities and risks for denominational organizations worldwide.
A subsidiary of Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont, is a Gibraltar-based captive insurer issuing liability insurance policies to Seventh-day Adventist organizations located in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
ARM South America serves as the operating company for South America and provides risk management and insurance services for Seventh-day Adventist entities throughout South America. Unibrás Corretora de Seguros Ltda. as an insurance broker, provides insurance products to the church in South America.
