As vice president of Adventist Risk Management, Inc., Arthur Blinci is responsible for Field Services, Corporate Communication and client education. He travels extensively, working with Seventh-day Adventist organizations around the world. Blinci has presented risk management and leadership seminars in the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.
Blinci has more than thirty years of risk management experience working for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Prior to joining Adventist Risk Management, Inc. in 1986, Blinci was assistant treasurer at the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Lansing, MI. where he was responsible for Employee Services and Insurance.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Blinci earned his Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from the Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2009. He graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. In 1988 he received the Associate of Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America. In 2004, he became a DDI certified facilitator for Development Dimensions International’s leadership courses. Blinci is a licensed property/casualty, life and health insurance broker in the State of California. He is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and the University Risk and Insurance Management Association (URIMA).
He has served as a board member and past president of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center in Washington, DC. In 1999, he had the privilege to testify on behalf of nonprofit sector before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations and Emergency Management.
Blinci and his wife, Sharon resides in Colton, California. They have one son, Mike, in college.
