Gencon Insurance Service, Inc.

There are some unique and specialized risks of the church that are more appropriately handled outside of Gencon Insurance Company of Vermont (GICV). To address this challenge, Gencon Insurance Service, Inc., was established in 1958 as a nonprofit insurance broker. It exists to facilitate direct contact and placement of risks with commercial insurance companies. This allows ARM access to all commercial insurance markets on a global basis.

To help facilitate our broker services, GISI has established co-broker business relationships with major international firms including AON, Marsh USA, Inc., and other intermediaries in London. GISI also enjoys established business relationships with FM Global, AIG, Zurich, Reliance, Liberty Mutual, Chubb, Hartford Steam Boiler, Wausau, Kemper, and other major commercial insurance companies.
