Workers' Compensation & Employers Liability
Workers' Compensation: State workers' compensation laws require, with few exceptions, that employers take responsibility for on-the-job injuries. Each state defines benefit level for employers in their state. The insurance pays all compensation and all benefits required under the workers' compensation act of the state(s) listed in the policy. Benefits included loss of income, medical, rehabilitation, disability, death, and survivor benefits.
Employers Liability: Coverage is provided for damages that an employer becomes legally obligated to pay (apart from workers’ compensation statutes) because of bodily injury by accident or disease to an employee.
