Accident and Sickness Coverage for Volunteers
What could be worse than getting sick without proper insurance while you are away from home? The Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizes their responsibility to provide adequate coverage when they dispatch volunteer workers outside their home country. Because of our unique partnership with American International Group (AIG), ARM provides the volunteer with rapid 24-hour access to physicians, nurses, and hospitals in varied locations; providing multilingual assistance for the volunteer without sacrificing quality physician’s care.
With this coverage, employers can provide an AD &D benefit of up to $50,000, and a Medical Expense benefit of up to $50,000, along with other benefits. Accident and Sickness protection is required for the eligible volunteers when they do not have any applicable protection from accident and sickness otherwise.
This coverage is available for the following people performing mission support outside of their home countries. Please note that this coverage is not available in the United States. Click here for form.
• Relief doctors, relief workers, relief missionaries
• Student missionaries
• Adventist Service Corp. workers
• Volunteer workers
• Mission support spouses and eligible dependent children

This insurance covers the personal effects and property of employees and volunteers of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during their period of service overseas. The program provides coverage for both unscheduled personal effects, property, and scheduled personal property.
