Silver Spring, MD. September 9, 2013 – Irma Johnson has accepted the position of Claims Manager at Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) starting immediately. She will oversee operations in the Claims Department at ARM, which processes claims from ARM’s Property, Casualty and Personal insurance products.
ARM President Bob Kyte commented that, “we wanted to find someone who would mentor and teach within the department based on expertise and experience…her commitment to our mission and that of the Church, and desire to see Claims Services provide a strong service to our clients makes her a great candidate to manage Claims Services.”
Johnson brings 27 years of experience in claims handling at ARM. She holds a Certificate in General Insurance and an Associate in Claims (AIC) – Property and Liability Claim Adjusting from the Insurance Institute of America. She also holds an Associate in Life and Health Claims (ALHC) from the International Claim Association.
Before joining ARM, Johnson, a native of Guyana, served in the North Caribbean Conference and before that in the Guyana Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
