

Silver Spring, MD, December 21, 2011 - Warren Walikonis, an employee of Adventist Risk Management, Inc. and the Seventh-day Adventist Church passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on December 21, 2011. He was 54 years old. He leaves behind his wife Dawn and their two daughters Stephanie and Janelle.
Arthur F. Blinci, ARM Vice President who worked with Walikonis during his years with ARM had this to say about Walikonis, "Warren was a dedicated leader amongst the Field Service team. His commitment to serve his clients with excellence and timeliness was an example to all of us. You could always count on Warren to handle any assignment in a professional way without complaint. It was a privilege to know him as both a colleague and friend for over twenty years, he will be greatly missed."
Words of condolence have been received from both his clients and ARM’s service providers. “I am in shock! Walikonis worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada for 7-1/2 years, as treasurer of the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference and then 21 years for ARM. During his time with ARM he first served as the manager of the ARM field office in Oshawa, serving the SDA Church in Canada. He then relocated to be the manager of the ARM field office in Berrien Springs, Michigan where he continued to serve Canada and the Lake Union's conferences. In July 1997, the family moved to Riverside where he continued serving all of Canada plus a portion of the Pacific Union conferences. He held the CRM "Canadian Risk Management" professional designation from the Global Risk Management Institute.
